Who we are

This site is run by Kaptiv8 (“we”, “us”), based in the UK. We decide how the personal data described here is used. For any privacy question, email talk@kaptiv8.me.

What we collect

When you send the contact form we receive:

• your name, work email and, if you add it, your company
• your message
• the page you sent it from and the time you sent it
• the country your connection comes from and basic browser information, which help us spot spam

If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include.

Why we use it

We use these details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about our service. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to people who contact us. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for anyone else's marketing.

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored with Cloudflare, which hosts this site. Our email runs on Google Workspace, so enquiries and our replies are held there. These providers may process data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any work that follows. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics. The site remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme in your browser's local storage, and that setting never leaves your device. Typefaces load from Google Fonts so the site displays as designed.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email talk@kaptiv8.me. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this notice when the way we handle data changes. The version on this page is the current one.
